TAG | RSS Feeds

If you have a static site, you can benefit greatly if you create RSS feeds. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. The format of the content is in XML and it’s different from the HTML that is for links, web browsers, summaries, and page titles.

Presentation is not a problem with the XML format because the function is mainly to deliver links. If you can create an RSS feed and display it on your website, any online user can grab it.

To ensure that you and the online users understand the content of the RSS feeds, you will need a feed display aggregator. This will make subscription a lot easier. If you want, you can also configure the aggregator.

To publish the RSS feeds, you can use CMS because this already has a built in feature for the RSS or you can also use feed builder tools which are widely available on the web.
